Elven Fairy Ireland Elopement at Connemara National Park Ireland Wedding

A magical elven fairy elopement in the Ireland forest

I love all things fairytale and magic, so I am in love with this elven fairy Ireland elopement in the misty and mystical forests of Connemara National Park. Shortly after entering the woods and following the path, we reached a small waterfall called Diamond Falls. This became our primary location of the photoshoot. Despite the darkness, the rain, and a few pesky bugs, we created some magical moments! Lord of the Rings inspired many of the wedding details, such as the pipe and invitations. Notice the mallorn leaf which is used to wrap lembas (elven bread) in LoTR? The bride even wore prosthetic elf ears to complete her elven look! Finally, the widely-loved fantasy world of LoTR merges with Ireland’s fairy folklore through the bride’s beautiful fairy wings.
