The Minimalist
Starting at $1200
A no-frills option focusing on essential photography, using simpler equipment and fewer services. Designed for couples looking to reduce costs without sacrificing image quality, who don’t desire further guidance or support.
This option ranges from $1200-2400 depending on location and hours of coverage ($200 less per hour than Signature). It includes:
Minimal interaction beyond photography itself; You or your coordinator are responsible for building the timeline and managing the schedule
Minimal editing without retouching
Online gallery with digital files for download and sharing
Purchase prints and self-design albums through online gallery store
Focuses on a maximum of 6 hours of coverage to include ceremony, portraits, and key reception moments
Less digital files per hour
The photography gear I use to photograph my minimalist option includes:
Compact fixed-lens cameras with crop-sensors (smaller files, may be grainier in low light, slow to focus risking missed shots)
Single memory card slot with no redundancy
Fixed lens (wide-angle) that requires me to be up close and personal during times when I could capture things further away
Minimal lighting, relying on natural light or basic on-camera flash or small LED panels
